A mutual fund is a pool of money managed by a professional Fund Manager. It is a trust that collects money from several investors who share a common investment objective and invests the same in equities, bonds, money market instruments, and other securities.

Tutorials, Interactive sessions, presentations, case studies, seminars & guest lectures, etc. The course is covered by adopting a combination of lecture methods, website display, case study analysis, class presentation by groups of students, and self-study sessions. Each student must do the background reading from the specified chapters of the prescribed book before coming to class. Basics will be discussed in groups (teams) outside the class as preparatory work.
